Well it was a great swim yesterday in Cayucos doing the polar bear swim. The dip is never as bad as you think it will be. Plus, once you are out, the air is warmer than the ocean and you barely need a towel. Lots of support on the pier as people cheer us on.
The furthest away contestant was from New Zealand. Plenty of people in costume and horns. Screaming helps make the cold of the ocean more tolerable. It was a cool 55 degrees.
