Fall Has Sprung in San Luis Obispo


Like their counterparts in the eastern United States, certain trees in San Luis Obispo County change color in the fall as daylight dims.

Cooler nights also signal to trees that the peak of summer is over and they can rest. Green chlorophyll production comes to an end, revealing yellows, oranges and reds in the leaves

Lots of people say we do not have changes of seasons here, but we really do.
I am from Indiana and yes it is not as drastic or wonderful as there, but surely there is beauty that abounds here on the Central Coast of California.
